A Dutch woman shared video of the incident this weekend, but said it actually happened a few years ago while she was performing aerobatics on her Extra 330LX plane. At the beginning of the clip, we see Narine Melkumjan closing the canopy of the plane and taking off into the sky, but soon the canopy opens, forcing her to fight against the strong wind current.

Apparently after passing a steep turn the dome lock opened which the pilot may not have closed completely. At first we see that he wants to take it again, but he quickly realizes that The glass broke and spilled on the floorSo he won’t be able to protect her anymore.

Narine Melkumjan was not surprised and immediately directed the plane to the runway.

The owner of the plane said the sudden loss of the canopy made it difficult for him to breathe and see as he continued flying. He also couldn’t hear much because of the loud noise, but he could hear his coach repeating on the radio, “Just keep flying.”

Despite everything, he managed to return safely to the ground a few minutes later. He adds that he is Vision returned completely to normal after just 28 hours after surviving this ordeal.

The pilot hopes that by sharing the video and details of his traumatic experience with other novice pilots, he can remind them to be more careful and alert when flying, and encourages pilots to fully pass all pre-flight checks.
