Last month OnePlus launched a major update for its smartphone OnePlus 12 It was called OxygenOS 14.0.0.802. This update introduced a number of new features, quality of life improvements and bug fixes. The company has now rolled out another major update called OxygenOS 14.0.0.810, which further improves animations and touch controls, fixes various issues, and improves security to June 2024 levels.


Currently, the update is only available to Indian users with firmware version CPH2573_14.0.0.810(EX01). Its total size is 1.06GB. Check out the full changelog below.

Touch control

  • App icons on the home screen are now more responsive to your touches.
  • Improves touch response when opening and closing applications.
  • Optimizes animations when opening and closing multiple programs.
  • Adds a transition animation when opening quick settings.
  • Optimizes animations when dragging app icons on the home screen.

Animation update

  • Adds Gaussian blur effects when opening and closing app icons on the home screen.
  • Adds a transition animation when opening and closing home screen widgets.
  • Adds a transition animation for clock widgets when the screen is off.
  • Improves the appearance of home screen widgets.

Games

  • Increases game stability.
  • Addresses an issue that could cause the screen to go black during gameplay.

System

  • You can now hide the part while drawing the lock screen pattern to unlock your device.
  • Music controls are now visible in Fluid Cloud.
  • Addresses an issue where the volume slider in Quick Settings and the slider activated by pressing the physical volume button could appear at the same time.
  • We integrated the June 2024 Android security patch to improve system security.

The OTA update will be released in phases. It will initially be available to a small percentage of users today, with a wider rollout expected over the next few days. Users can manually check for updates by going to Settings > About Device > OxygenOS > Check for Updates.
