A major OnePlus 11 OxygenOS update is coming with 1.05GB of changes

OnePlus OxygenOS 14.0.0.700 update released for users OnePlus 11 In India. This update with firmware version IN: CPH2447_14.0.0.810(EX01) weighs 1.05GB and includes new features, bug fixes, and security fixes from June 2024. A global rollout is expected soon.

Touch control

  • Faster app icons: It is faster to click on the app icons on the home screen.
  • Improved application animations: Application opening and closing animations have been made more fluid.
  • Go to quick settings: New transition animation for opening quick settings.
  • Optimized animations: Improved the animation for dragging app icons on the home screen.

Animation update

  • Gaussian blur effects: New blur effects when opening and closing app icons on the home screen.
  • Animation of widgets: New transition animations for home screen widgets, including clock widgets.
  • Improved display of widgets: Better display of home screen widgets.

Security

  • Calendar permissions: Calendar permissions are given at minimum level for better security.
  • Board privacy: Improved clipboard privacy feature to prevent unauthorized access to private information.

Gameplay improvements

  • Game stability: Fixed to improve game stability.
  • Black screen fix: Fixes an issue that could cause the screen to go black during gameplay.

System update

  • Lock screen template: Ability to hide part when drawing lock screen template.
  • Music controls: Music controls can now be viewed in Live Alerts.
  • Security fixes: Includes June 2024 Android security patch.
  • Volume control fix: Addresses an issue with the volume slider in quick settings and the physical volume button appearing at the same time.

The update is released in small batches to ensure stability. Users can manually check for updates by going to the settings page, selecting “About this phone” and clicking on the blue ribbon at the top. To report a bug, users can dial *#800# and select the bug report option.
