Samsung is making big changes to the Galaxy S series! Recently, the Android Headlines team shared new details about the upcoming Samsung devices. It looks like Samsung may be dropping the Plus model from the Galaxy S25 series.

While leaks have confirmed the existence of the regular Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra, the Galaxy S25 Plus has not appeared. The model numbers of the upcoming Samsung phones are SM-S931B/DS, SM-S938B, SM-S938U, SM-S938N, and SM-S9380. The regular Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra are here, but the S25 Plus is sadly missing.

The first leaks regarding the Galaxy S24 series in July 2023 pointed to a traditional lineup consisting of three models: the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. However, the latest leaks point to a potential change in Samsung tradition, as the S25 series will only feature two models. The company seems to be unhappy with the pace of sales of the S24 Plus, which led to the decision to discontinue the S25 Plus.

Previously, Samsung used a better display on the S24+ compared to the regular S24. While both the S23 and S23+ had 1080×2340 resolution displays, this year the Plus model has a higher resolution display (1440×3120). Despite this, it seems that users are still not convinced enough to go for the Plus model.
