Later this month, Redmi will announce the Redmi K70 Ultra as the latest device in the Redmi K70 series in China. Following the K70 Ultra, the company is expected to introduce the Redmi Note 14 series smartphones in August or September, followed by the series in November. Redmi K80A recent report has revealed the model numbers of the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro. A recent post by tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo has revealed all the information about the K80 series.

Redmi K80 series design details (rumors)

According to the tipster, the Redmi K80 Pro’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-based design has been significantly improved. He added that the K80 series will likely feature a new glossy material and composite glass, while ceramics are still being considered. One of the design options the company is apparently considering is moving the camera module to the top left corner. The same leak had previously claimed that the K80 series will also have a Champion Edition like the K70 series.

The IMEI database listings of the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro have revealed that these devices have model numbers 24122RKC7C and 24127RK2CC respectively. The two phones are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets respectively. There is no clarity on the existence of the Redmi K80e as of now.

According to reports, the Redmi K80 Pro will feature a flat 2K display with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. It will have a 50-megapixel main camera and a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It is expected to have a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

There are currently no specific leaks regarding the specifications of the Redmi K80. There are speculations that the K80 and K80 Pro may be rebranded as Poco F7 and F7 Pro in the global market in 2025.
