Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad announces the launch of its latest budget smartphone Great 50The phone comes with several features: 256GB of storage, a 4700mAh battery for long-term use, and an AG glass back cover for a premium feel.

Great 50 It also has a 6.56-inch waterdrop-shaped display on the front and a dual camera and LED flash on the back.

The phone will be available in three attractive colors: Snow Domain Silver, Frosted Black, and Sakura Pink. While the official price is yet to be revealed, Coolpad has confirmed that the phone will be sold both online and offline.

The phone was recently spotted on the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and it was revealed that the Cool 50 has a screen resolution of 720×1600 pixels and dimensions of 163.6×74.8×9.2mm. The latest Coolpad release is the successor to the previous version, the Cool 60, an affordable smartphone that was launched in China earlier this year. The Cool 60 is priced at 599 yuan ($83) and is equipped with a UNISOC T760 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.

It has a 6.51-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It also supports 5G networks and split-screen capability.

The exact launch date is currently unknown, but the company is offering it to Weibo users for a limited time, so it is expected to launch soon. Full pricing and specifications will be announced at that time.
