Samsung isn’t the only brand preparing to launch a new flip phone. Xiaomi will soon introduce the Mix Flip model. While there’s no official information regarding its launch, a new certification has confirmed its design elements and more.

The upcoming Mix Flip foldable phone from the Chinese tech giant has been spotted with NCC certification. This isn’t just documentation, but also live images of the device. The model number of the new flip phone is 2405CPX3DG. The image confirms that the Xiaomi Mix Flip will feature a dual camera on the display cover and a selfie notch on the front.

Apart from the camera modules, there were no other moments that caught our attention. It is a black model with minimalist aesthetics, keeping the Xiaomi branding at the bottom. An adapter for charging the new clamshell was also shown at the NCC. It comes with an MDY1-EV adapter that confirms support for 67W wired fast charging. The device is equipped with a dual cell with a battery capacity of 1145 mAh + 3595 mAh under the cover. These specifications are consistent with one of our previous reports.

Xiaomi is expected to power the Mix Flip with its flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The device was spotted in China in May under 3C certification with model number 2405CPX3DC. The chip is said to be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. In terms of optics, the Mix Flip could feature a 50-megapixel primary camera paired with a 60-megapixel OmniVision OV60A telephoto camera offering 2x optical zoom. Other notable design elements include a 4-inch frame and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
