Chinese company Xiaomi introduced a new and cheap smartphone to the public Redmi 13 5G. Then continues the series Redmi 13 4G. While the devices are very similar externally, they are different internally. The hardware platform is the latest SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Accelerated Edition instead of the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra. There are other, less significant differences.
Its main features include a 6.79-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution (2460×1080 pixels) and 120Hz refresh rate, a main camera (108 and 2MP), a 13MP front camera. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, water and dust protection (IP53), and a 5,030mAh battery with 33W charging support. The software base is Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14.
The first region where the model will be revealed will be India, where sales will start on July 12, 2024, with a price of $168 for the 6/128 GB version and $186 for the 8/128 GB version.
