What happened

A Boeing 757-200 took off from Los Angeles to Denver. The wheel was later found near the runway, and it wasn’t immediately clear where it came from. Airport staff later apparently reviewed security footage and found the problem even then.

According to the airline’s statement, there were 174 passengers and 7 crew members on the plane who were not injured.
