HONOR is launching a global competition for emerging artists to win prizes worth up to US$118,000.

Emerging talents from Colombia and around the world are invited to unleash their creativity at the HONOR Talents Global Design Awards 2024.

HONOR announced the launch of the HONOR Talents Global Design Awards 2024, inviting emerging creative talents from Colombia and around the world to explore the endless possibilities of merging technology and art. A total of 93 awards worldwide and 15 awards exclusive to Latin America.

As part of HONOR Talents, the HONOR Talents Global Design Awards aims to foster the development and growth of young people by providing emerging talent with the opportunity to reach their full potential. Under the theme “Inspiring the Future,” the competition covers two tracks: Visual Communication Design and Art & Technology.

There are six categories within these sections: Themes, Watches, Accessories, Art, Technology, Magic Lock Screen, and Sleep Mode. The latter two are among the new features of MagicOS 8.0, HONOR’s new Android 14-based operating system that will enable young people to unleash their creativity and offer consumers a more personalized intelligent experience and aesthetically enhanced technology.

The above-mentioned awards include the World No. 1, winners and runners-up in each category, the Best New Talent Award, the Jury Award, the AIGC Innovation Award, and the Best Interactive Participation Award. In addition, the winners of the competition will have access to a range of exclusive benefits, including employment opportunities, the opportunity to apply their work to HONOR products and showcase their creations, accelerated certification through the Developer Fast Track program, and an exclusive invitation to the Art and Tech Tour of China.

The latter provides a valuable opportunity to visit the company’s headquarters as well as partner universities and institutions, allowing them to gain knowledge from other artists and industry experts, improve their understanding of the industry and their design skills.

Since its launch in 2020, the HONOR Talents Global Design Awards has been widely recognised as a prestigious initiative, receiving over 25,000 nominations from over 40 markets and 240 universities worldwide, with over half of the entrants being university students, making it a global stage for young people to showcase their talent.

Now in its fifth year, the awards continue to gain recognition as a leading global platform for the convergence of art and technology. By collaborating with exceptionally talented designers, the company aims to bring cutting-edge artistic concepts to its products, cementing its reputation as a pioneer in the sector.

The HONOR Talents Global Design Awards 2024 is now open. Design enthusiasts from all over the world can participate by submitting their entries via the official website until September 30, 2024.
