Korean company Samsung Electronics has released a software update for the Galaxy S22 series smartphones. The traditional monthly update for June 2022 for the Galaxy S22 series turned out to be unexpectedly larger – 1.7 GB in size.

Despite its large size, the provided changelog mentioned nothing more than the usual bug fixes and system improvements. But today, the moderator of the community on the Samsung forums announced that much more is hidden in the June update.

The report says that the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra are optimized for the camera. In particular, photos will now come out with more natural clarity – the developers have corrected the excessive sharpness known with Samsung’s post-processing. In addition, the contrast and portrait mode should be improved and more natural colors will be transferred when photographing animals.

Finally, one of the most serious camera bugs that caused the phone to stop taking images after shooting in Single Shot mode has now been fixed. Source
