The official premiere of the Huawei Nova Flip smartphone will take place only on August 5, but the well-known insider Digital Chat Station has already revealed the characteristics of the smartphone. It received an internal OLED display with a diagonal of 6.94 inches, a resolution of 2690×1136 pixels and a frame rate of 120 Hz. The external display is an OLED with a diagonal of 2.14 inches and a resolution of 60 Hz.

The hardware platform will be based on the proprietary SoC Kirin 9. The resolution of the front camera will be 32 MP, the main camera will have sensors with a resolution of 50, 8 and 2 MP. The battery capacity is 4400 mAh, with support for 66-watt charging, such a battery will charge very quickly. The amount of RAM will be 12 GB, internal flash memory – 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB.

Huawei Nova Flip has two external versions: with a glass back panel and with a leather-covered panel. Accordingly, the thickness and weight in the first case – 15.08/6.88 mm (folded/unfolded) and 195 grams, in the second case – 15.12/6.9 mm and 199 grams. Prices have not yet been announced, but devices from the Nova series are traditionally cheaper than smartphones from the flagship Huawei series.
