Features and specifications
The Power Hat uses passive emitter back contact (PERC) monocrystalline silicon solar cells that are thin and flexible. These solar cells provide approximately 12W of charging power via USB-A and USB-C connectors located on the underside of the cap. The hat weighs 370 grams, making it lightweight and comfortable to wear.
Power Hat can charge a 4000 mAh smartphone to full capacity in just 3-4 hours.
The Power Hat also has an IP65 protection rating, meaning its functional elements are protected against dust and can withstand jets of water from all directions. However, the durability of the USB ports in direct exposure to water has yet to be tested.
