The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Fold4 smartphones appear to be based solely on the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC. Ice Universe insider says this by stating that it is very good as current flagships on the Exynos 2200 run worse.
Fortunately Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 are using Snapdragon 8+ processor worldwide and European users can try the awesome Snapdragon processor. I borrowed a version of the Galaxy S22 Ultra on an Exynos 2200 from a friend and oh my god it really sucks, it’s full of lags and stutters. Much worse than the Snapdragon version
Why Samsung decided to abandon the Exynos 2200 in its new sophisticated flagships, we can only guess so far. At least the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 should be more energy efficient, but tests will show.
Ice Universe is one of the most trusted insiders. In particular, smartphones with waterfall screens, explosions on the iPhone X, the new design of the iPhone 14 and the 200 megapixel image sensor were among the first to talk about Samsung. Source
