In addition to the increasing rumors about the iPhone 16 series, a new leak has also revealed the color options of the Pro model. In the published image Sonny DixonThe well-known source of fake device leaks shows four iPhone 16 Pros in different shades.
The most prominent among these is the bronze variant, which will reportedly replace the blue titanium variant currently available on the iPhone 15 Pro. This is consistent with a previous tip by Weibo leakster Digital Chat Station, who mentioned a bronze iPhone 16 Pro Max back in August.
Other colours shown include the familiar white, black and grey, which could be silver or the available ‘Natural Titanium’ finish. This leak follows a previous post DixonIt showed the iPhone 16 Pro in white, black, and gray-silver, but no bronze version.
Aside from the aesthetics, previous leaks have also hinted at what to expect from the iPhone 16 Pro. The Pro models are said to have larger displays than their predecessors, with the iPhone 16 Pro sporting a 6.3-inch OLED panel and the iPhone 16 Pro Max sporting a 6.9-inch display.
Camera upgrades are also expected, with the ultra-wide-angle lens rumored to have a 48-megapixel sensor instead of a 12-megapixel one, and there’s also the much-anticipated Tetraprism periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The iPhone 16 Pro series is also assumed to be powered by the A18 Pro processor, built using TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process node (N3E).
Dixon also released images of fake devices for the non-pro iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models. The vanilla model comes in brighter colors, namely blue, yellow, pink, green, and black.
They will likely feature a redesigned rear camera module with a vertical lens arrangement. The change is reportedly meant to make it easier to create 3D images and videos for Apple’s Vision Pro functionality.
Both non-Pro models are expected to feature a 3nm A18 processor, an Action button seen on Apple’s latest devices, and a new ‘Capture’ button in the camera app for simplified zoom, focus, and capture controls. Rounding out the rumor, all four iPhone 16 models will have 8GB of RAM and support Apple’s artificial intelligence initiative called Apple Intelligence.
