New iPhone 16 Pro color may be called “Desert Titanium”
The first hints that the iPhone would get a new color emerged a while ago. Although it was literally obvious, we still haven’t had confirmation that this is the color we should expect, as Apple introduces new colors every year.
A new image shared on social networks shows the camera lens rings of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models, confirming the assumption that we will get a new bronze color.

It’s worth noting that insider Majin Bu has a pretty good track record when it comes to Apple leaks. He describes the new color as “desert titanium,” saying it’s “kind of like a dark gold.” He also said the color will be “relatively distinct and deep,” comparing it to the deep purple of the iPhone 14 Pro.

The new iPhone 16 Pro color, “Desert Titanium,” will allegedly replace the “Blue Titanium” from the iPhone 15 Pro lineup, and will be joined by “White Titan,” “Black Titan,” and “Natural Titan.” It looks like this year’s “Black Titan” will be much darker, while “Natural Titan” will have a grayer tone.
iPhone 16 presentation date is possible
Apple may hold its event now September 10Apple typically holds its events in the first half of September to announce the iPhone 16 series and the updated Apple Watch Series 10 smartwatch, so these rumors are likely true given past trends. The leak includes a screenshot of the invite to the event that reads, “Ready. Set. Fire” – a slogan that could point to the new Capture Button, which is supposed to be responsible for launching the camera and taking the shot.
We also see that the company’s logo is in the new “Desert Titanium” color, which once again confirms what we mentioned above.
