We are barely three weeks away from meeting the next iPhone 16. The rumors are heating up: we think we already know what their camera system will be like, what processor configuration they will use and what the design of the new family of devices will be like from Apple.
If everything goes according to the information we have, we will put the iPhone 16 on the table next September 10. They will be the first to see the Pro Max models made in India. It all seems to make sense: Apple wants its Pro models to be more heroic than ever.
According to the leaks, Apple initially plans to produce 90.1 million iPhones. For context, Apple generated 86.2 million in revenue last year. Of that 90.1 million, 37% (33.2 million) will be represented by the Pro models, significantly more than last year’s 26.6 million (30%).
Apple wants the Pro variants to feature more, but the source notes that this production estimate could change as demand determines.
Last year, seven of the top ten best-selling phones were iPhones, led by the Pro models and the standard models (no Plus). Despite the good numbers, Apple is experiencing a certain decline in sales. A decline that must be stopped.
Betting on the most profitable models and reducing dependence on China for production is part of the plan. Looking ahead to 2026, all eyes are on the iPhone 17 Air, a “standard” iPhone with a groundbreaking design to boost sales.
