WhatsApp was the most popular application in Turkey

Social media and messaging applications between WhatsApp It stood out as the most used application with 86.2%, followed by YouTube with 71.3% and Instagram with 65.4%. While WhatsApp usage among men topped the list with 89.5%, among women this percentage was set at 82.9%.
Clothing and accessories became the first choice in e-commerce

Percentage of people who shop online In 2024, it was 51.7%. The most preferred categories at these stores were clothing, shoes and accessories. While 76.7% of e-commerce individuals shopped in these categories, this percentage rose to a high of 83.0% among women. Men mainly ordered from restaurants and fast food chains.
Internet users While 47.9% prefer internet-connected televisions, internet-connected home appliances such as robot vacuum cleaners and smartwatches are also becoming more common. In addition, 89.2% of people who bought a mobile phone or computer online named price as the most important criterion.
