A striking design, a simple display. The Redmi 14C is 8.22 millimeters thick and weighs between 204 and 211 grams, depending on the color. It is available in black, sage green (with a texture similar to vegan leather) and, the heaviest, gradient blue. On the back, there is a huge camera module (in fact, big enough to house two lenses), a headphone jack (a rarity for Avis) and on the front, it mounts a nearly seven-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution but a modest 120Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, Xiaomi has decided to hide the camera in a teardrop notch rather than a punched hole.
Under the hood of MediaTekPowering HyperOS are four or six MediaTek Helio G-81 Ultra (with a maximum speed of 2 GHz). gigabyte The RAM (depending on the version) can be expanded up to 12 GB using virtual RAM and 128 GB internal storage (expandable with microSD cards). The RAM is LPPDR4x and that is not bad, but the storage is eMMC 5.1 and not UFS and that is something to be appreciated above all for its writing and reading speed.

More battery and fair connectivity. Xiaomi hasn’t skimped on milliampere hours, and the Redmi 14C packs a 5,160 mAh battery with 18W “fast” charging. Fast charging isn’t as fast as other current offerings, but we’re not paying for it either. In terms of connectivity, there’s 4G, WiFi ac, GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 5.3. What it doesn’t have, at least in Vietnam, is NFC, but that’s a feature that often varies greatly between markets.
Two cameras in one. Finally, it is time to talk about the camera in the singular, because yes, the Redmi 14C hides a 50 megapixel camera in that huge rear module and an auxiliary lens to support portrait shooting. And flash, but that’s it. Inside the teardrop notch we will find the front camera, whose resolution remains at 13 megapixels.

Xiaomi’s new Redmi 14C is available for purchase in some markets, such as Vietnam and the Czech Republic, but it has yet to arrive in Spain. This is expected to happen at some point, but we don’t know when. We’ll update this article to reflect local prices when it does. It’s priced at 112 euros based on exchange rates where it’s available, which is a very competitive figure for the user who wants a very basic mobile phone without spending too much.
