The car was dumped on the side of the road in a fairly busy area of ​​Seattle and eventually became a meme of sorts, particularly on Reddit’s r/CyberStruck page, which makes fun of the Tesla pickup’s problems.

After a photo of a lone Cybertruck was posted online, some people even erected makeshift memorials to the broken-down machine.

A Reddit user claims in the comments that he spoke with the owner of the vehicle on Sunday night, but his words cannot be verified:

I stopped by on my way to dinner tonight. The owner was out and was not happy with our arrival. He said a kid hit his Cybertruck a few weeks ago and he was still trying to get insurance to fix it. He said people have been harassing him and his wife for the past few days and he doesn’t understand why. We told him his truck was on reddit and he got even angrier. We drove really fast

Someone very quickly created a CyberStruck icon on Google Maps and people immediately flooded it with fake reviews. Unfortunately, Google has already removed the sticker.

But the humorous “worship” of the abandoned car didn’t last long. According to a post on Reddit , passersby alerted authorities to the abandoned vehicle, so authorities initially tried to contact the owner to warn him that he would have his Cybertruck taken away or it would be towed away.

Apparently, city representatives could not find the owner, because already on September 10, that is, yesterday, the Cybertruck was moved at midnight.

It is not known exactly where the truck was taken, and it is not clear whether city officials were behind it or whether the owner himself decided to call a tow truck and tow the car to a parking lot, where he will have plenty of time to decide what to do.
