Company HMD Global Following the launch of their 2G counterparts in June, it has launched the HMD 105 4G and HMD 110 4G feature phones in India. These devices aim to provide users with entertainment and information on the go by offering modern features like access to YouTube, YouTube Music and YouTube Shorts via the Cloud Phone app.


The phones come preloaded with UPI for secure transactions and have a robust design for ease of use. Key features include a 1450mAh battery, MP3 player, wireless FM radio, 32GB SD card support, and Phone Talker app. The devices also support 23 languages ​​and offer 13 input languages, appealing to a wide user base.

Prices and availability

The HMD 105 4G is available in Black, Blue, and Pink colours for Rs. 2,199, while the HMD 110 4G is available in Titanium and Blue colours for Rs. 2,399. Both the phones will be sold via retail outlets, e-commerce platforms, and HMD’s official website. Both the models come with a 1-year replacement warranty.

Reliance Jio, on the other hand, has launched the JioPhone Prima 2, an affordable phone with 4G features that will replace the 2023 JioPhone Prima 4G. The Prima 2 features a 2.4-inch curved QVGA display, Qualcomm SoC processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage (expandable up to 128GB), and runs on KaiOS 2.5. 3 that offers apps like YouTube, Facebook, and Jio’s own suite. The phone supports 23 Indian languages, JioPay for UPI payments, and has a durable design with a leather-like back.
