Company Meizu A new smartphone is being prepared for release in China. This was reported on the Weibo account by a well-known employee of Digital Chat Station, whose information is generally reliable. The tipster calls the novelty Lucky 08, but it is not yet clear what the final name will be. The source published a black image of the device and a white live photo.
In the photo, you can note the unusual design of the main camera module: it is round in shape, and the additional lens and flash seem to revolve around the main lens. Digital Chat Station called it a Star Trek design. Of the other features, only a capacious battery is mentioned – most likely 6000 mAh and support for Flyme AIOS artificial intelligence functions.
At the same time, the novelty remains a budget device and will receive a plastic case with straight edges, although the display frame will be thin and symmetrical. It is not yet known when the Meizu Lucky 08 will be released, but given that live images have already begun to appear, it is possible that it will be released in September-October.
Interestingly, Meizu announced its withdrawal from the smartphone market in the winter of this year. But it is probably in no hurry: since the announcement of its resignation, several of its models have already been released, and about a month ago it became known that a new smartphone from the M series is being prepared.
The insiders at Digital Chat Station are considered reliable: they were the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of many smartphones, such as the Redmi K60 and Xiaomi 14.
