Asus is preparing to launch its next-generation gaming smartphone ROG Phone 9 ProThe device recently appeared on the certification list in China, confirming its development.

The listing doesn’t reveal specific details about the device, but it does confirm support for 65W charging. Its predecessor, the ROG Phone 8 Pro, also has 65W fast charging, so it doesn’t seem like we’ll see better charging speeds.

The CQC listing doesn’t offer any further details, but we can expect it to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor as well as a robust cooling system. The ROG Phone 8 series was launched in January, so we’ll probably have to wait a few months unless the brand decides to launch the ROG Phone 9 series sooner.
