Previously, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra received approval from the 3C authority in China. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ have now been approved by the same regulatory body. What can we expect regarding the fast charging capabilities of both smartphones?
According to 3C Database, the Galaxy S25 (model number SM-S9310) supports 25W fast charging, while the Galaxy S25+ (model number SM-S9360) can support 45W fast charging. These certifications indicate that the fast charging capabilities of the S25 and S25+ will remain unchanged from the previous models. Similar to the S24 series, the S25 models will not include a charger in their retail packages.
Reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 will have a 4,000mAh battery, while the S25 Plus will have a 4,900mAh battery. The S25 Ultra is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery. Of course, these devices will support both wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. Interestingly, the certification of the S25 Ultra 3C suggests that this could be Samsung’s first smartphone with satellite support.
All three S25 models are expected to be powered by the Galaxy Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. Considering the 3C certification, it seems that the S25 series could be introduced in January 2025.
In related news, Samsung is working on several new devices for different markets. The brand is expected to unveil its Galaxy Tab S10 series flagship tablets later this month. Rumors also suggest that the brand is developing the Galaxy S24 FE, which could be officially unveiled in October.
