Almost all of China’s leading smartphone brands are set to announce their new flagship phones in the last three months of this year. One of the new trends that is about to gain momentum is the use of 6,000mAh batteries. The recently launched mid-range model Vivo Y300 Pro has a 6,500mAh battery, while the iQOO Z9 Turbo+, which is scheduled to be launched this week, has a 6,400mAh battery. A new leak suggests that the upcoming iQOO flagship phone will also have a massive battery.

iQOO 13 battery, charging details leaked

A recent Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station reveals that the upcoming iQOO phone will feature a 6,100mAh battery with dual-cell and support for 120W fast charging technology. Although he doesn’t mention the name of the device, it seems like he could be referring to the iQOO 13. Previous reports had claimed that the device will support 50W wireless charging.

The leakster had previously revealed many details about the iQOO 13. Earlier this month, he had said that the device will feature a custom-designed flat OLED panel with 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.

The primary camera of the iQOO 13 is expected to include a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It may have a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies.

The iQOO 13 will run on Android 15 based on OriginOS 15. It is also expected to feature other features like an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, metal mid-frame, Halo light bar, and an IP68-rated chassis. Apparently, the top-end version of the device will come with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
