Broken and abandoned

The launch of the GMC Hummer EV caused quite a stir at the time. In addition to the sheer power and weight (1,000 horsepower and a curb weight of almost 10,000 pounds), it was the return of one of the most powerful SUVs ever made. Now, it has been found abandoned on the side of a deserted road in Arizona.

TikTok user Allen Skillicorn came across this SUV while driving his Porsche Cayenne down a trail. It showed the car with a broken suspension — apparently one or both of the front wheels couldn’t handle the load and were bent into an unnatural position. You can also see some lubricant or other substance leaking in the video.

Skillicorn doesn’t know exactly what caused the damage or how long the heavyweight had been sitting on Sycamore Creek Trail. Perhaps the accident happened the same day and the owner will return as soon as possible and get his SUV repaired.

It’s worth noting that the Hummer EV’s numerous off-road tests have shown that the car can handle even greater challenges, but this time something really went wrong.

The route the vehicle was found on is part of an 11-mile route marked “moderately difficult,” meaning the owner may not have known what he was getting into when he set out on this trip.
