Launched in Vietnam last week, the POCO C40 has finally made its worldwide debut. The smartphone is positioned as the cheapest POCO smartphone and comes with a large battery. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at its features and capabilities.

Features and specifications of the POCO C40

The C40 comes with a curved back panel with a large camera compartment and a small module with two camera sensors. It is equipped with a 6.71-inch LCD screen with a resolution of HD + 1560 × 720 pixels. The screen offers a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. It has thick bezels around it and a teardrop-shaped cutout for the front camera.

The JLQ JR510 chipset with Octa-Core processor is placed under the hood of the device. The chipset is associated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card. Coming to one of the main features of this device, it is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery that supports fast charging with a capacity of 18 watts.

In terms of optics, the smartphone is equipped with a dual rear camera consisting of a 13-megapixel main camera with f / 1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f / 2.4 aperture. The front of the device has a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

The C40 runs Android 11 with MIUI 13 for POCO and has a slot for two SIM cards, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. Other features include a dedicated MicroSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, built-in FM radio support and a fingerprint sensor on the back. The body of the device is completely made of plastic. It measures 169.59×76.56×9.18 mm and weighs 204 grams.
