Company Oppo It introduced the newest smartphone of the K series, K12 Plus, in China. This is a mid-range offering with an emphasis on a smooth display with a large battery and a powerful camera system.
Technical specifications of Oppo K12 Plus
The K12 Plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, a chip well suited for daily tasks and light gaming. It comes with Oppo’s ColorOS 14 interface on top of Android 14. Storage options range from 8 GB/256 GB to 12 GB/512 GB.
The smartphone sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel on the front with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and a claimed peak brightness of 1,100 nits for better outdoor visibility. The display also supports the P3’s wide color gamut and has a 240 Hz touch sampling rate for a more responsive gaming experience.
On the back, the K12 Plus keeps things simple with its dual camera setup. The main sensor is a 50MP shooter that will likely be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the 16-megapixel front camera handles your video calls and social media shots.
The phone has a powerful battery with a capacity of 6400 mAh, which will provide all-day use even for advanced users. Oppo complements this with 80W wired fast charging. Connectivity options are varied, with support for 5G alongside the usual Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. It also has a USB Type-C port with OTG capabilities and an under-display fingerprint scanner for added security.
