SAMSUNG Introduced smartphones in France Galaxy A16 5G And Galaxy A16 4G. The first had been released before, but the second had its official premiere only now. Prices have not been announced yet, but it was previously reported that the Galaxy A16 4G will be around €30 cheaper than the 5G version. Both devices will be updated for 6 years, making the Galaxy A16 4G the most affordable (for now) model from the Korean company with long-term software support.

The smartphone received an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, Full HD+ resolution and a frame rate of 90 Hz. Galaxy A16 is built on MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and has 4 GB RAM and 128 GB flash memory. Battery capacity is 5000 mAh and supports charging at 25 W power. The front camera is 13 megapixels, and the main camera has 50, 5 and 2 MP resolution sensors. The device configuration also includes IP54 protection, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB Type-C port and standard headphone jack.

Galaxy A16 runs One UI 6.1 based on Android 14. So the latest Android version for this model is Android 20.
