Production of Apple’s highly anticipated budget-friendly iPhone SE 4 model will reportedly start in December 2024. This could be a harbinger that the phone will be launched in early 2025.

This new model from Apple comes with major innovations compared to its predecessor. Apple is saying goodbye to the home button that has been used for years in the entry-level iPhone SE series and is switching to a full screen design. Moreover, the Face ID feature will be included in this model for the first time in the iPhone SE series.

On the technical side, iPhone SE 4 will be quite powerful. The phone will power Apple’s high-end iPhone 16 models. It is expected to come with the A18 processor. This processor is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and the phone also supports the functions of Apple’s artificial intelligence, Apple Intelligence. The price of the iPhone SE 4 is estimated to be between $499 and $599. That’s what analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple will start production of the phone in December 2024 and produce approximately 8.6 million units by March 2025. This production schedule indicates that the iPhone SE 4 will be available in the first quarter of 2025.

It has also been reported that production estimates for Apple’s other models will drop slightly. For example, a serious decline in iPhone 16 orders is expected in the future. Apple aims to balance sales with its budget-friendly model, iPhone SE 4.
