Nothing, which has become a user favorite thanks to its innovative designs, is a limited edition product created entirely with the contributions of the community that makes up its user base. Nothing launches Phone 2a Plus Community Edition.

In the project, launched last March based on the Phone 2a Plus model, the community presented their feedback and requests for this special version. This phone is shaped by user suggestions and creative touchesIt provides a remarkable visual effect by showcasing Nothing’s famous Glyph lighting design with a phosphorescent surface that glows in the dark.

How did the design process go?

The design process of the new model consisted of four phases, focusing on different parts of the phone, starting with hardware features. The winning design, determined by the community, was based on the theme of ‘phosphorescence’, which shines in the dark.

The transparent back panel of the phone features a special coating to create a glowing effect in the dark. This function without the need for a power supply It absorbs light, making it shine for hours.

In another design phase, six new wallpapers were developed specifically for the phone and these images are pre-installed on the device. Subsequently, the phone’s packaging was designed in accordance with the same innovative concept. A glossy coating has been added to the outside of the phone’s box to enable the phone’s glow-in-the-dark feature. After these phases, a marketing campaign was prepared highlighting the community’s contributions.

How much will it cost?

Only 1,000 units of this special phone will be produced For about $518 as of November 12th will be available for sale. It has not yet been announced in which countries these supplies will be available.
