Today’s flagship mobile processors, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite and MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400, started appearing in new phones, and today these two key processors were compared in a series of tests.
The first phones to show off the power of two powerful new mobile processors Realme GT7 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite and vivo X200 Pro with Dimensity 9400 happened. These two processors will find a place in more and more phones in the near future.
Although Qualcomm has historically been ahead of MediaTek in terms of performance, Taiwan-based MediaTek has taken serious steps to close this gap in recent years. The Dimensity 9400 processor consists of 1 3.63 GHz Cortex-X925, 3 3.3 GHz Cortex-X4 and 4 2.4 GHz Cortex-A720 cores. As a graphics unit, the Immortalis-G925 GPU was preferred.

Snapdragon 8 Elite, on the other hand, has 2 4.20 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix L and 6 3.53 GHz Oryon V2 Phoenix M cores, which are Qualcomm’s own design. With this core configuration and higher clock speeds, the CPU performance of the Snapdragon 8 Elite is stronger than that of the Dimensity 9400. On the graphics side, a serious improvement is aimed at over the previous generation by using the Adreno 830 GPU.
Snapdragon 8 Elite in Geekbench 6 tests 15% better in single-core performance and 10% better in multi-core scenarios It gives results. However, in more blended workloads like AnTuTu 10, the Dimensity 9400 stands out, beating Snapdragon by 6%. In graphics-intensive 3DMark tests, Dimensity 9400 outperforms Snapdragon 8 Elite by 7-8%.
