Samsung today introduced two new foldable phones for China, the W25 and W25 Flip. These phones can be considered updated versions of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition and Galaxy Z Flip 6 for China in terms of functionality, but most importantly the new generation Bixby was introduced at the same launch.

The new version of Bixby is supported by large language models (LLMs). In other words, it is much more successful at understanding natural language and context.

What can the new generation of Bixby do?

If ‘It’s cloudy outside. What should I wear to work today?’ If you say so, Bixby will tell you the weather forecast and ask you to wear a raincoat when you go to work because there is a chance of rain. immediately afterwards “How long will it take me to get there?” If you ask, Bixby knows when you’re talking about going to work and shows you directions and estimated arrival time based on traffic conditions.

Bixby also works on your Galaxy phone. be able to provide detailed, step-by-step procedures for performing operations. For example, if you ask how to add a watermark to images taken with the camera, Bixby will explain it in an easy-to-understand way.

Bixby can also receive information from applications on the phone and detect your queries. So if you ask when your family reunion is, the information about it can be scanned from your phone.

Bixby comes with a brand new user interface

As seen in the images used at launch, the new version of Bixby will cover the entire screen. has a new user interface design and you can chat with him via text or voice whenever you want.

The new version of Bixby is currently only available on the W25 and W25 Flip in China, but Samsung is preparing to offer the next-generation Bixby experience for its other models very soon.
