Xiaomi 15 was officially launched in China recently. The company’s latest entry-level flagship improves on its predecessor with updated specifications and design changes while maintaining its compact form factor.

Xiaomi’s basic flagship is positioned as an alternative to the basic iPhone and Galaxy S, starting with the 13th generation model. This time it has a Chinese rival in the form of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini. However, unlike the products mentioned above, Xiaomi 15 comes with 28 color options. There is no other phone on the market with this many options.

1. Standard colors

Xiaomi 15 comes in 4 standard colors. They are white, black, green and purple.

These are lighter shades and do not stand out in any way against the background of other colors. However, these are the original colors of the phone and will be available in larger numbers. There is also a 5th standard color called Liquid Silver. This color is inspired by the Mi 6 Mercury Silver Edition. Although it seems like a limited color, Xiaomi has listed it in the standard section. Therefore, we think there may be more units.

2. Diamond Limited Edition colors

This version of Xiaomi 15 is likely to be in limited edition. As the name suggests, it actually has a 57-faceted, organically grown diamond embedded in its side.

The back panel is made of nano-technology vegan leather with a texture similar to crocodile scales. The product is offered in 3 colors: white, gray and orange. The camera island has also been enhanced with a shiny silver texture. The phone comes with a matching card holder and passport holder made from the same material as the back panel.

3. Special printing colors

This Xiaomi 15 variant is similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip Bespoke Edition. Customers can choose from 20 different colors. Primary colors consist of pink, green, red, blue, orange and purple. Other tones are variations of these.

The selected color can also be combined with a silver or black frame. So in theory there are 40 combinations to choose from. This version of the smartphone is exclusive to the official Xiaomi online store. Therefore, it is not surprising that the delivery time is longer.

4. Global availability

It is known that Xiaomi has not released all colors outside of mainland China. We expect the same for Xiaomi 15 when it hits overseas markets. In fact, it may not be possible to offer all standard colors in every market, let alone in limited edition production. Even if the company decides to launch other colors, they will have to be available in limited quantities in certain regions. So the only way to get the option you want outside of China is to import through a reputable person or dealer.
