Apple’s iPhone series may undergo a major design change with the upcoming iPhone 17 series. A recent leak suggests that Apple may introduce a bumpy central camera, marking a significant departure from the traditional corner-aligned rear camera module.
The changes revealed by images on AppleTrack’s YouTube channel also point to other important updates in the iPhone 17 series, including advanced camera features.
Bold new design for iPhone 17 Air/Slim
The iPhone 17 Air is reportedly leading the charge in this redesigned design. It was previously expected to have a single rear camera. This minimalist approach is reminiscent of the classic iPhone SE or iPhone 8 design.
However, the latest render from the source shows a dual camera setup with a central arrangement in landscape orientation, unlike the vertical arrangement seen on recent iPhones. Meanwhile, other iPhone 17 models are expected to maintain the camera placement.
