Honor recently introduced the new Honor 300 family in China. This family consists of one member focusing on the mid-high range and two other models that will compete in the highest range. Honor 300 is the new star of Honor’s mid-range. A device with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, 4,000 nits maximum brightness and a very stable Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Memory configurations (at least in China) are quite generous; For internal memory, it starts from 256 GB and gradually increases. Up to 16 GB RAM in their most ambitious versions.
The camera system is simple, with a 50- and 12-megapixel main and ultra-wide-angle camera. We appreciate that no macro or depth cameras are included, the days of filler cameras are starting to be a long way off.
On the front we find a depth sensor, but this will serve to make facial recognition more sensitive, which is a logical use.
The battery powering this phone is 5,300mAhWith 100W fast charging. Thus, it currently becomes one of the mid-range phones with the highest charging capacity.
At the software level, it comes with MagicOS in its ninth version and of course Android 15. It doesn’t lack anything in the connectivity department and overall it’s a pretty balanced offering.
Honor 300 Pro and Honor 300 Ultra are almost twins. The only difference between both models is A slightly longer telephoto lens on the Ultra modeland more ambitious memory configurations are also in this model.
Otherwise, they share a slightly larger screen compared to the Honor 300. In this case, although the brightness and technologies are the same, it is 6.78 inches. There are improvements in the processor as these phones have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Although this processor is not as powerful as the new Snapdragon 8 Elite, it offers simply amazing performance with slightly less energy consumption.
Although these two phones do not have more capacity than their smaller siblings, they have 80W wireless charging feature.
The new Honor family will be available in China starting from December 7. These will be prices and versions.
