ASRock does not produce RAM but is known for its high-performance motherboards 24 Channels with reference Hot Hardware.

A new record was broken on the motherboard ASRock Z890 Tachi OCFSpecially designed for extreme overclocking. Liquid nitrogen cooling was used to achieve this unprecedented speed, as standard air cooling could not cope with the heat generated at such high frequencies.

The experiment was conducted by overclocking expert Allen Mathew, better known as Splave, and broke the previous DDR5-12 record of 634 MT/s (6317 MHz) set on November 27. The system also included the flagship Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor. For the experiment, the E-cores of the processor were disabled and the P-cores operated at a frequency of 2088.8 MHz.

DDR5 CUDIMM modules feature built-in clock frequency generators that increase stability of operation at high speeds. This technological advancement has led to a number of new overclocking milestones as various teams attempt to push the limits of DDR5 memory.

Although such speeds currently have no practical value to the average user, they demonstrate the reliability and potential of today’s DRAM technology. These benchmarks highlight the capabilities of DDR5 memory and the innovative engineering solutions behind overclocking.
