Dubai-based luxury smartphone manufacturer Caviar introduced its latest luxury collection of special iPhone 16 models. Caviar, known for combining rare materials with cutting-edge technology, has once again demonstrated its ability to create ultra-luxury devices. The highlight of the collection is the “Magnificent, Terrible, Magnificent” iPhone 16 Pro Max, adorned with an 18K gold crown and precious stones.
Technical specifications and design
The crown of iPhone 16 Pro Max is a unique bas-relief inspired by the crowns of three iconic rulers: Ivan the Terrible, Suleiman the Magnificent, and Charlemagne. This three-dimensional masterpiece weighs over 1 kilogram and is made of 750 gold coins.
The upper part, decorated with a cross, echoes the hat of the Russian tsar. The precious stones on the crown are inspired by the Holy Roman Empire, and the base mimics the shape of Suleiman the Magnificent’s helmet. The intricate design is further emphasized by botanical motifs reflecting oriental aesthetics. In addition to the crown, the body of the phone is also decorated with 402 diamonds, rubies and sapphires. These precious stones are set on a background of genuine leather, adding a sense of sophistication and durability.
This extraordinary model is part of Caviar’s exclusive “Corona” collection. iPhone 16 Pro Max “Awesome, Terrible, Magnificent” is limited to only three copies worldwide, highlighting its rarity and exclusivity. Each unit is meticulously crafted, making it a true collector’s item for luxury lovers.
In addition to the crown-style design, Caviar introduced three more models inspired by the aesthetics of Swiss watches. These include Evergreen, Atlantis and Twilight versions, with design elements reminiscent of iconic Rolex watches.
The Atlantis model is inspired by the Rolex Submariner with dark blue crocodile skin symbolizing the vastness of the ocean. Gold details and a frame-shaped center piece reflect the prestigious look of the Submariner. Similarly, the Evergreen and Twilight models use Rolex’s signature green and black colors. Each device features titanium cases wrapped in crocodile skin, combining strength with elegance.
