While Apple is gearing up to launch the iPhone 14 series later this year, we’ve already reported rumors about the iPhone 15 next year. Now a new report has shown that there may be some similarities between the iPhone 2022 and 2023 lines.
New rumors are coming Omdia and claims that next year’s iPhone 15 series will have similar screen specs to the upcoming iPhone 14 series. Obviously, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 will have the same screen size. It is also reported that the iPhone 15 will have the same cut in the form of double staples on its tablet-shaped screen.
For those unfamiliar, the iPhone 14 Pro series is expected to finally get rid of the big notch on the front panel, in favor of two cutouts for FaceID sensors and a selfie camera. It looks like the iPhone 15 series will also have a similar front panel design. Notably, it will include a lower-end model as opposed to the iPhone 14 series. This report also predicts that the Cupertino-based giant will launch iPhones in the same screen size two years in a row.
Interestingly, the Omdia report adds that Apple’s smartphone brand lags behind other competitors when it comes to under-display cameras and FaceID technology. These features are likely to appear around the iPhone 16 series.
