For years one of the largest communication stakeholders in the world, whatsapphas been offering voicemail since 2013. As the voicemail features in the app continue to evolve, WhatsApp has moved to voicemail. new features in the future also announced.

The blog post shared by WhatsApp states that a total of 6 new features are coming to the application. Among these new features aimed at improving the voice chat experience, users some features they wanted for a long time was also present. The 6 features announced to WhatsApp in the coming weeks were as follows:

New features coming to WhatsApp:

• To play non-chat: If you leave the chat where the audio recording is playing on the phone, you can now continue listening to the audio recording. This way you can listen to incoming audio recordings while doing something on your phone.
• To pause/resume recording: When you need to collect your thoughts while recording audio, you can now pause the recording process and resume recording whenever you want.
• Waveform Visualization: Audio recordings are now displayed in waveform in the chat window to help track the recording.
• Concept example: You can now listen to the audio you recorded before sending it to make sure you know what you said before recording. (This feature is currently available to many users)
• Remember to play: When you restart the audio recording after leaving the chat window halfway through while listening to the audio recording, you no longer have to manually scroll to where you left off. With this feature, voicemail will automatically pick up where you left off when you return to chat.
• Fast playback of forwarded messages: Both regular and forwarded voice messages can now be played 1.5x or 2x faster. (This feature is currently available to many users)
