And if until recently only consoles of the current generation, as well as new NVIDIA and AMD video cards, could boast of high-quality support, the situation will soon change.
The fact is that ARM announced the first graphics processor equipped with hardware units to accelerate ray tracing – Immoralis-G715. It is also planned to be implemented in flagships, not laptops, but smartphones.
RT blocks Immoralis-G715 are reportedly able to provide up to 300% productivity gains in processing races.
At the moment, there is no definite information about which smartphone models will be equipped with an innovation. However, ARM officials said they plan to introduce the technology to devices that will be released by the end of 2022.
