Now trusted guide @evleaks has revealed that the ROG Phone 6 series has launched with a custom made controller that will make it easier to play on smartphones.
ASUS ROG Phone 6 game controller
The renders show that the controller has an Xbox-style button and trigger, and the overall design is the same as the ASUS ROG Kunai 3 controller. Like the Kunai 3 gamepad, the new controller has two connection modes – Bluetooth and the bundled bumper cover. The controller comes with a pair of additional handles for ease of use in Bluetooth mode. It also appears to be available in two colors, white and black.
An earlier report revealed that Asus is also planning to launch a new cooling fan accessory called the AeroActive Cooler 6. It will be interesting to see if the gamepad and cooling fan can be used together and whether it will be practical as a portable gaming device due to its weight. factor
We now know that ROG Phone 6 will feature 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ with 165Hz refresh rate and a built-in fingerprint scanner for security.
The latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset along with up to 18GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal memory will be housed under the hood of the device. It will also run on the basis of ROG UI based on Android 12 and will have a two-cell battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh with support for 65-watt fast charging. It’s also certified to be IPX4 waterproof.
