Motorola is preparing to launch a few phones in the coming months. We recently reported that the Lenovo-owned company is planning to launch the Moto G62 5G in India alongside its flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC processor. And today the company has announced a new smartphone called the Moto X30 Pro.
Motorola has turned to Weibo to announce its new smartphone, the Moto X30 Pro. The company says the smartphone will focus on “super-realistic images” using three lenses with different focal lengths: 35mm human eye, 50mm human eye, and 85mm portrait eye. The device is expected to be introduced in July alongside another brand’s flagship smartphone.
According to the news, the device will be called “Moto X30 Pro” in China and “Moto Edge 30 Ultra” in world markets. The device was recently spotted on the 3C certification site stating that it will work with a 125 watt charger.
Motorola Edge X30 Pro / Edge 30 Ultra will have a 6.73-inch pOLED display with Full HD + resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. It will have a panel with curved edges with a hole-shaped recess. For security, the device will have a built-in fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset under the hood. It will be powered by a 4500mAh battery that supports 125-watt fast charging and 50-watt wireless charging. The device will run Android 12 with MyUX out of the box.
As for the cameras, the front panel of the device has a 60-megapixel camera. The rear panel features a triple OIS 194-megapixel / 200-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (wide) + 12-megapixel system. Source
