Realme has announced the Realme GT2 Pro in India today. The company also announced many products such as Realme 9 4G, Realme Book Prime, Realme Buds Air 3 and Realme Smart TV Stick. At the end of the launch event, the company not only announced the vanilla Realme GT2 for the country, but also announced the release date.

On May 4 this year, Realme will celebrate its fourth anniversary. The company has confirmed that the vanilla Realme GT2 will be launched on its fourth anniversary in India. The specifications of the device are already known, as the phone has already been launched in world markets and in China. Like the GT2 Pro, the GT2 will feature an eco-friendly paper-like back panel and will be available in three colors: Steel Black, Paper Green and Paper White.

Technical specifications of Realme GT2

Realme GT2 is equipped with a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, built-in fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device is equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie camera, a megapixel main camera Sony IMX766. OIS, 8 megapixel wide-angle camera and 2 megapixel macro.

Snapdragon 888 SoC is at the head of Realme GT2. It can have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage in India. It will boot into Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 solid. GT2 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.

Realme GT2 is likely to appear in India alongside other Snapdragon 888-based flagships like OnePlus 9RT, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, iQOO 9 SE and Xiaomi 11T Pro. There is currently no information on GT2 prices for India.
