The premiere of Huawei smartphones of the Mate 50 series is expected on September 12 – not soon, but renders based on leaks and cover images have already started to appear on the Internet. These images are likely high-quality conceptual illustrations of the Huawei Mate 50 Pro. Also, the smartphone poses in two colors at once – black and white.

The most important thing here, of course, is the camera. The block contains the name of the new proprietary camera brand – XMAGE. It will combine all old and new Huawei technologies in the field of mobile photography. XMAGE is a synthesis of the words Extreme and Image as part of the Huawei brand and will focus on three components: the feel of the photography process, the relevant culture and innovation. So, it will be more than just a set of sensors and lenses.

But for now, we are more concerned with technology. Judging by the texts on the camera block, the smartphone will have lenses with a focal length of 13 to 90 mm, that is, we can talk about 7 times zoom. The main module will most likely have a wide-angle lens. And 90mm is the focal length of the lens of the periscope module. Of course, there will be optical stabilization.
