The system makes it possible, among other things, to detect people’s weapons, their location, and even which way a person’s face is turned. You can also scan the area and understand the layout with Xaver 1000.
Externally, the device looks like a giant military projector. The tripod has four-way pop-up panels and a 10.1-inch screen that displays scan results. The screen also contains controls for manipulating the device.
To find out what is behind the wall, you need to mount the platform on a tripod, place it on the wall and start the scanning process. In just a few seconds of operation, the gadget displays a picture on the screen with the exact location of objects and people behind the wall, which is more likely to follow their movement in the area.
According to Cameo-Tech, the technology creates a three-dimensional visual picture and broadcasts what’s happening in real time. Algorithms also independently interpret the collected data – for example, the AI can determine the layout of the room, whether a person is behind a wall, what position he is currently in, where the face is oriented, and whether the object has a weapon. .

The company emphasizes that such functions can be extremely useful during hostage release operations.
According to the developers, Xaver 1000 easily penetrates all common building materials. The equipment is suitable for the armed forces, law enforcement, intelligence units and search and rescue teams.
All due to the extremely simple operation of the device, and the technology itself does not require an understanding of the work of algorithms – just set up the device, pressed a button and received information. The management interface is also as simple and straightforward as possible, as noted by the developers.
The device is part of the company’s See Through Walls family of products developed for military purposes. The announcement of the new technology took place at the end of June as part of the Eurosatury 2022 exhibition in Paris. Cameo-Tech is yet to say when the system will hit the commercial market. They also do not disclose the technologies used in the device.
