Galaxy S20 FE is the latest Samsung phone to receive a security update

In July 2022, Samsung released a security update for another smartphone, the Galaxy S20 FE. Both LTE and 5G variants of the smartphone have started receiving the new security update in Asia and Europe.

New software update for Galaxy S20 FE comes with a firmware version G780GXXS3CVF3 in Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam. In European countries, update rolls out to Galaxy S20 FE 5G with firmware G781BXXS4FVF3. The new update includes July 2022 security patches, improved device stability and various bug fixes.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE with Android 10 in the second half of 2020. The phone received the Android 11-based One UI 3 update in early 2021 and the Android 12-based One UI 4 update earlier this year. It will receive the Android 13 update at the end of this year or early 2023.
