In May of this year, Sharp introduced the new Aquos R7 smartphone and announced that it will go on sale from July to August. Now, a photo has surfaced online confirming that the Sharp Aquos R7 uses the latest Sony IMX989 image sensor launched in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
At the same time, the Sharp Aquos R7 will reportedly use a scaled-down version of the Sony IMX989 image sensor whose resolution will be reduced from 50 MP to 47 MP. It was previously announced that Sharp is also from Leica. The new smartphone will use a quality Leica Summicron lens.
The phone was built on the basis of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 single-chip system, received 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory. It is possible to insert memory cards with a capacity of up to 1 TB.
