Last week, Xiaomi officially introduced the 12S Ultra, Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro and 12 Pro Dimensity Edition. As the company confirmed at launch, the 12S Ultra is now available for purchase in the domestic market.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra price, color options

Xiaomi 12S Ultra is available in three variants: 8GB RAM+256GB storage, 12GB RAM+256GB storage and 12GB RAM+512GB storage. These variants are priced at RMB 5,999 (~$894), RMB 6,499 (~$969), and RMB 6,999 (~$1,045). It can be purchased in classic black and green colors. The back of both devices is leather.

Features of Xiaomi 12S Ultra

Xiaomi 12S Ultra has a 6.73 inch AMOLED LPTO 2.0 Quad HD+ 120Hz display. It has a 20 megapixel front camera. On the back, there is a triple camera setup with 50 MP (Sony IMX989, 1-inch main sensor) + 48 MP (Ultra Wide) + 48 MP (Periscopic Telephoto) dual OIS. The device runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top.

The 12S Ultra is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It includes a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, 50W wireless charging support and 10W wireless charging support. The device has IP68 protection class against dust and water. It does not have the secondary screen found in last year’s Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. For security, it has a fingerprint scanner built into the screen.

As for global availability, Xiaomi has no plans to launch the 12S Ultra in markets outside of China. Source
