Earlier this week, we got our first look at the upcoming Oppo A97 5G smartphone via a China Telecom listing. Now, new images have surfaced online showing the device from different angles and hinting at color options.

The images were shared by trusted infotainment Evan Blass (@evleaks) and show that the smartphone will be offered in three colors – blue, black and pink. The device will have a flat back, straight edges and a large camera module.

On the right side of the device is the power button with a built-in fingerprint sensor, and on the left is the volume rocker. At the bottom, next to the USB-C port and speaker, is a headphone jack.

Oppo A97 5G specifications and features

According to China Telecom’s listing, the A97 5g will feature a 6.56-inch display with a notch and Full HD+ resolution. In terms of optics, the smartphone will have a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 2-megapixel secondary camera. On the front of the device, there will be an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

It will be powered by a 5000mAh battery and will be available in 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants. The chipset of the device is still a mystery. Finally, the device is expected to cost 2,299 yuan (about $343) for the 12GB RAM model.
